Ilana Arbeit
Ilana Arbeit is a Benefits Practice Vice President at Hilb Group where she develops comprehensive employee benefit plans for both small and large group clients. Ilana’s ability to help her clients identify challenges and create solutions makes her an integral part of the firm’s strategic planning process.
Ilana has worked in various facets of employee benefits. Beginning her career at a mid-sized group insurance brokerage in 2001, she moved to Fiduciary Intermediary LTD (FILCO), a General Agency in 2005. As FILCO’s Sales Executive and NY Sales Manager, Ilana was tasked with assisting brokers to construct, maintain and service all aspects of their customers’ employee benefits.
Ilana received her BA from Queens College where she majored in Media Studies. She currently serves as Immediate Past President on the board of the New York State Association of Benefits and Insurance Professionals (NYABIP) and previously served on the New York Metro chapter’s board. She is currently serving on the steering committee for Volunteer New York’s Volunteer Spirit Awards and the YWCA of White Plains and Central Westchester’s In the Company of Woman event committee. Ilana has been the recipient of several awards including the prestigious NY Metro Association of Health Underwriter’s Outstanding Service Award and is a graduate of Leadership Westchester, class of 2021.
David Arbeit
David Arbeit is a Client Services Vice President at Hilb Group. He works with business owners, executives, HR managers and staff to implement and maintain group insurance policies. David consults with our Mult-National clients providing a range of strategic solutions to suit their unique needs.
Before joining Hilb Group. David worked as a General Agent Sales Representative at Fiduciary Intermediary (FILCO). As a benefits specialist, David delivered a unique approach and a wide range of services to Clients, Insurance Brokers, and Individuals to help maximize their insurance programs and benefits.
Prior to joining FILCO, David was a Client Services Director at an insurance brokerage in Long Island, NY. He oversaw day-to-day management and maintenance of group insurance plans, resolved service issues, and implemented and renewed client insurance policies. David drew on his 5 years of experience as an account executive at HealthPass New York, a nonprofit, private insurance exchange.
At HealthPass New York David was tasked with assisting Brokers and General Agents in maximizing their sales, income and overall satisfaction with the HealthPass products. David actively participated in all aspects of the sale and maintenance of all insurance programs offered through the HealthPass platforms.
David attended CUNY Brooklyn College where he majored in Film Production, and currently lives outside of Tel Aviv, Israel, with his wife and two daughters. David previously sat on the board of New York State Association of Benefits and Insurance Professionals (NYABIP).
Suzanne Hammond
Suzanne Hammond is an Account Manager in the Employee Benefits Division and is licensed in Life & Health Insurance. She has over 17 years’ experience working alongside brokers assisting with all phases of the client experience from needs assessments and plan implementation to the day-to-day servicing of all groups post sale. She has a BS in Biology from St. Mary’s College, Notre Dame, IN and makes her home in Poughkeepsie, NY. Her interests are reading, art, crochet, being out in nature and most of all her family, including her fur babies Winnie and Willy and her granddog, Hollie.
Radika Persaud
Radika Persaud is an Account Manager at Hilb Group. Radika began her benefits career at a General Agency, Fiduciary Intermediary LTD (FILCO). With over 18 years of experience, Radika is a valued member of this team. Her clients rely on her patience and attention to detail.
